Common questions

The questions buyers actually ask

Grouped into goods, buying, logistics and company. If your question is not here, ask us directly — we reply within one working day.

  • Our own warehouses — mainly Hong Kong, plus Shenzhen
  • Hong Kong lots: inspect in person or via SGS / BV
  • Sold as-is — the rules are stated up front
Original labels and date codes, photographed by us — this is how you verify condition yourself.

About the goods

What condition is the merchandise in? Is it all new?
It varies by lot and we always state it explicitly. We use six grades: new in original packaging, new bulk, pulled and tested working, customer return, packaging defect, and mixed. Every lot page shows the grade, and mixed lots break it down line by line. See the glossary for exactly what each grade means.
How do I know the parts are genuine and not refurbished as new?
Three things. First, we say where every lot came from — a named type of source, not "a supplier". Second, all photography is ours, including close-ups of original labels and date codes, so you can verify packaging yourself. Third, you can inspect before paying, or commission SGS / BV at your cost. If a lot is pulled from used equipment we grade it "pulled, tested working" and never call it new.
Can I inspect the goods before paying?
Yes, and we encourage it. For lots in the Hong Kong warehouse: come yourself, send your agent, or commission a third-party inspection company such as SGS or BV at your cost. Some lots sit in our Shenzhen warehouse — every lot page says which one, and for those please contact us first so we can arrange access. Either way, we do not ask for money before you are satisfied with what you have seen.
Are you the owner of the goods, or a middleman?
We buy every lot outright before listing it. The goods are ours and they are physically in our own warehouse — Hong Kong for most lots, Shenzhen for some; each lot page says which. That is why we can negotiate terms on the spot instead of going back to ask someone else.
Every quote starts from a line-by-line manifest checked against the physical stock.

About buying

Why are prices not shown for most lots?
For components, network gear and PC parts the price genuinely depends on how much you take, your payment terms and how fast you can move — a single published number would be wrong for almost everyone, and it damages the price structure for everybody. For clearance lots — drones and consumer electronics, mixed pallets — we do publish a guide price for the whole lot, because those buyers reasonably expect one.
Can I buy just a few pieces?
No. We sell wholesale lots only — no retail, no single units, no small parcels and no drop-shipping. Most lots can be split into agreed sub-lots, but we will not pull the ten best pieces out of a pallet.
Can I buy part of a lot?
Usually yes. Each lot page states whether it can be split. When it can, we agree the split with you before quoting — typically by line item or by pallet, not by cherry-picking individual pieces.
How do I pay?
Telegraphic transfer. A deposit secures the lot, with the balance settled before release. For mainland buyers we can sign a Chinese-language contract and receive payment to a corporate account. Terms — deposit ratio, schedule — are negotiable and affect the price.
Can I return the goods?
No. Surplus lots are sold as-is, which is why we insist you inspect before paying and why every lot carries our own photography and video. Once a lot is released the sale is final. If you cannot inspect in person, commission a third-party inspection — that is exactly what it is for.
Palletised, wrapped and labelled before release — EXW or FOB Hong Kong.

Delivery & logistics

Can I collect the goods myself?
Yes. For Hong Kong lots, collection from our warehouse is the default: EXW Hong Kong. Bring your own transport or send your forwarder; we can also arrange onward shipping — FOB Hong Kong. For lots in the Shenzhen warehouse, collection and shipping are arranged case by case — contact us before you plan around it.
Who pays for shipping?
The buyer. For Hong Kong lots we quote EXW or FOB Hong Kong; freight, insurance and destination charges are yours. Shenzhen lots are quoted case by case — ask us. We are happy to introduce forwarders we work with, but the contract is between you and them.
The lot is in Hong Kong — how do I get it into mainland China?
They have to be imported, and which route fits depends on the category: electronics and network equipment carry certification requirements that mixed pallets and plain electro-mechanical parts do not. Tell us the category and destination city and we will set out the realistic options, the lead time and who handles the customs declaration — before you commit, not after. Note that some lots are already in our Shenzhen warehouse, inside mainland China — that is a different situation, so check the lot page for which warehouse holds it and ask us.
How fast is release after payment?
One to three working days after funds clear, for collection from the Hong Kong warehouse. Larger lots that need repalletising may take longer; we will tell you the realistic date when quoting. For Shenzhen lots we give you the date when quoting — do not assume the same window.
Our own Hong Kong warehouse. You are welcome to come and stand in it before you pay.

About us & alerts

Are you a Hong Kong company?
No, and we see no reason to pose as one. Shenzhen Sorint Technology Co.,Ltd is registered in mainland China and our business licence is verifiable. We run our own warehouses in Hong Kong and in Shenzhen; each lot page states which one holds that lot. A Chinese company with a Hong Kong warehouse is the normal, straightforward structure for this trade.
How do the new-lot alerts work?
Tell us which categories you buy and any part numbers or brands you track. When a matching lot lands in one of our warehouses you hear from us the same day — usually before it appears on this website, and the alert says which warehouse. We only contact you when there is a match: no newsletters, no drip campaigns, and you can stop at any time.
Do you buy surplus stock as well as sell it?
Yes. If you are sitting on excess inventory — a cancelled order, a plant closure, slow-moving stock taking up space — we buy outright and we can move quickly. Tell us what you have and we will come back with a realistic number.
