Condition grades
These six words decide almost every dispute in this trade. Every lot page uses exactly these terms and links back here.
- New, original packaging
- Never used, still in the manufacturer's sealed packaging — full reels, sealed cartons, MSL bags intact. Date codes are visible in our photographs.
- New, bulk
- Never used, but repacked out of the original retail or manufacturer packaging — typically poly-bagged or boxed by size.
- Pulled, tested working
- Removed from working equipment and individually powered up or link-tested by us. Cosmetic wear is possible. We never describe pulled stock as new.
- Customer return
- Returned by an end customer, typically unused but with opened packaging. Function is not individually verified unless the lot page says otherwise.
- Packaging defect
- Goods are new and functional; the outer packaging is scuffed, crushed or shelf-worn. Priced accordingly.
- Mixed condition
- The lot contains more than one grade. The line-item manifest states the grade for each line.
Lots and manifests
How we cut stock into units you can buy, and what documentation comes with each.
- Lot
- One block of stock that arrived together and is sold as a unit (or in agreed sub-lots). Identified by a code such as LOT-2608-01.
- Manifest
- The line-by-line contents of a lot: part number, brand, quantity, condition, packing and date code. Available as CSV on request.
Trade and delivery terms
Standard trade terms, stated the way we actually apply them — not the textbook definition.
- EXW / FOB Hong Kong
- EXW: you collect from our warehouse and handle everything after that. FOB: we deliver to the port and load; freight onward is yours.
- As-is
- Sold in its present state with no warranty and no returns — which is why inspection before payment is offered on every lot.
