HV DC contactors
We have handled 0 hv dc contactors part numbers, 0 of them in stock right now. This page lists all of them — including the ones we do not currently hold.
Choosing a substitute: four parameters that decide it
Written for people looking for a substitute. We are not the manufacturer — this is what we have picked up handling these parts. Always confirm against the datasheet.
Continuous rating and short-time withstand are different things
The continuous rating covers normal operation; the short-time withstand (say 2,000 A for 5 s) decides whether it survives fault and pre-charge. The most common mismatch we see is someone matching continuous current and ignoring withstand.
Sealed contacts, and what gas
Hydrogen-filled ceramic-sealed parts contain the arc, which suits a sealed battery pack. Epoxy-potted parts are cheaper but sensitive to altitude and contamination. At the same current rating the two are not interchangeable.
Coil voltage and economiser
Most are 12 V or 24 V. Parts with an economiser hold at about a tenth of the pull-in power. Vehicle and storage systems care about holding power, and this gets overlooked when substituting.
Auxiliary contacts
Auxiliary contacts feed main-contact state back to the BMS. Parts without them are cheaper, but retrofitting usually costs more than the difference.
Cross-reference by brand
Equivalents by brand at the same rating. Green = we have handled it and the cell links through. This is not a drop-in guarantee — use it to narrow the search.

We handle this category, but there is no line-item record in the system yet. This page stays up — the part table appears here automatically once we hold or have handled stock.

Common questions
How do I know these are not refurbished?
We only take whole lots in unopened factory cartons. We photograph the carton, the seals, the labels and the date codes. Before paying you can open them yourself at the warehouse holding that lot, or have SGS / BV do it — each lot page states which warehouse holds it.
Can I take just a few dozen?
For HV DC contactors we usually split lots. The minimum depends on the part, typically 100–500 pieces. Taking the whole lot is meaningfully cheaper per piece.
Are you an authorised distributor for these brands?
No, and we have never claimed to be. Stock comes from cancelled projects, plant closures and distributor clear-outs, and every lot says which. See Quality & verification.
